How to Decorate a Registration Table

Decorating your registration tables will go a long way to make the registration process more homey and comfortable. Using decorations to add flare and pizazz to your registration table makes a usually tedious process such as registration exciting and inviting. You can take a functional or aesthetic approach, or you can combine elements of the two to make the registration table both more conspicuous and visually delighting.

Use table covers, table cloths, or a combination of the two. You can use table covers to cover the entire table, or you can sheath it on the edges of the table so that the space between the edges of the table and floor is covered. Use table cloths to cover the top of the table for a more professional look.

Place flowers on the table. The arrangement need not be lavish, but depending on what the registration is for, you may consider hiring a professional florist. If the registration is for a less formal cause, flowers such as roses, tulips and daisies add a nice touch to any registration table.

Place a centerpiece on the table. A special talisman, a basket of fake fruit, or even a crystal piece all make for nice centerpieces. You can even try tailoring your centerpiece to the occasion or event. If the registration is for the upcoming peewee football season, for example, a football centerpiece would highlight the theme of the registration process.

Use vibrant color schemes. Complementary colors such as blue and orange or red and green fit well together because of their contrast. You could use a red table cloth and a green table cover, for instance. Bright colors such as yellow and orange also stand out amongst the crowd, making your registration table highly visible.

Place a banner on the front edge of the table. Banners help people identify your registration table, especially if your registration table is at a large event such as a comic book convention or industry trade show. The banner should identify what registration your table is for as well as any other pertinent information, such as scheduling.
