Once all of the system requirements have been met, Polycom PVX can be used in a conference room by arranging the camera and microphone in a way that ensures all conference participants are in the video frame and can be heard in the microphone.
Teleconferencing Using Polycom PVX
After you've performed an audio and video check in the conference room, you are ready to begin the video conference. It is important to have exchanged the IP addresses of the teleconferencing computers prior to the video conference. This IP address is typed into the "Address" box of the Polycom PVX software. After you've hit the "Call" button, the destination computer should automatically configure both video conference locations, and at this point, you should see and hear the other location's video and audio feed.
